An Empty Chair

“An Empty Chair” By  Pratiksha Misra From morning cereal, To an evening affair, What never was around, Was an empty chair.. The Walk

Walked a long way without looking back..
As the chase stared longer.
Traveled miles away without an ask..
As breathless monger.
Into a never defining path..

The arms wide spread..
The smothering shade..
The prolific outburst..
The incandescent thirst.
Shut out..
Through the sound proof door.
Choking to talk..
As he had started to walk.
