A Grieving Traveler

I sat in a train again Without you... I sat with pain again Without you.. I wish you were there I wish to get back your stare I wish to share some words How I wished to look out of the window the same way as yesterday.. This journey that I start again Without you... This journey that I pause more often Without you... As there is no one to put a hand on My shoulder of disdain.. As there is no one to just make a  Harmless gesture of being insane.. How I wished to sip that cup of tea with a relentless life beyond the sea waiting to be free.. *Dedicated to my mom as she shares her feeling of loneliness after my dad passed away last year. They both used to love traveling together... * picture courtesy the author while she captures this on her train ride to  Carlisle, PA.

Just A Little

Just a little smile..
Just a little thought.
Just a little while..
Just a little plot.
Just a little mile..
Just a tiny slot.
Just a little pain..
And a little clot.
Just a little jump..
On the little bump.
Just a little free..
Full of glee.
Just a little hope..
Dreading to elope.
Just a little dope.
Climbing a little slope..
To ease down the rope.
Just a little tug..
Before the glimpse of your dream..
However impossible it seem.
Just a little darkness..
Surrounded by dampness.
Just a little something..
Just a little someday.
Just a little forgetful..
And a bit tactful.
Just little words..
Just a little said.
Just a little breathe..
Just a little fed.
Just a little play..
On the overarching clay.
Just a little era..
Of mesmerized aura.
Just a little something..
Like the whisper in your ear.
Just a little touch..
Grasped upon your fear.
Just a little notion..
Just the right emotion.
Just a little steep..
That goes down deep.
And a little wish..
To the grandeur unleash.
