A Grieving Traveler

I sat in a train again Without you... I sat with pain again Without you.. I wish you were there I wish to get back your stare I wish to share some words How I wished to look out of the window the same way as yesterday.. This journey that I start again Without you... This journey that I pause more often Without you... As there is no one to put a hand on My shoulder of disdain.. As there is no one to just make a  Harmless gesture of being insane.. How I wished to sip that cup of tea with a relentless life beyond the sea waiting to be free.. *Dedicated to my mom as she shares her feeling of loneliness after my dad passed away last year. They both used to love traveling together... * picture courtesy the author while she captures this on her train ride to  Carlisle, PA.

Win

There is laughter in every kill.
And sadness in every shrill.
You hate someone with a heart.
Love fades but hatred never departs.
Waking up with moist eyes.
Are emotions which never dies.
A covered wound takes longer heal.
As pain persists longer than you feel.

There is slaughter in every insult.
And ego bursts following an age old cult.
You love only to your dismay.
Drinking the potion not a word you say.
Everyday you evolve within.
As sentiments continue to lather.
You try to take the ship much farther.
As memories don’t let you think.
Destroying inner spirits in a blink.
Everyone falls in love.
Turning a blind eye to the everlasting dove.
Even if it seems incorrect.
Plunging into is resurrect.
Reality doesn’t bother.
As you hold hands forever.
You enter a pact with Yourself.
Breaking of which is an ugly reflection.
Every niceness is ruined after that portion.
Every defeat is a win.
Every armor is respect.
Only death should make you cry.
Life is how you ride to fly.
Love is power not possession.
Seek it with no repent over unheard decision.
Kill every spell insult none.
Trudge with true spirits and bow to The One.
