What is Fear ?....

Is it just the darkness  we are talking about ,
or  the thought of loneliness with nobody around you..
Is it just the fear to be laughed and scorned  at or the fear to be shouted at or to be precise the  fear of failure..
Each of us at some point act foolishly , and then look around just to be calmed down by the fact that nobody was watching.
Each of us have at some time acted desperate in love with friendship and just didn't admit it because of fear ..
Each of us have tried it hard to overcome fear most of us have achieved it and some of us are still trying their best to remove it ..

As it goes in Hindi my favorite saying by Allam Iqbal :-

"Khudi ko kar buland itna ke har taqdeer se pehle,Khuda bande se ye poche bata teri raza kya hai....."
which means ..
"Make your will power that strong that before God predicts your destiny , He actually comes up to you and requests you to grant permission..."

And a famous saying by Ralph Waldo Emerson:-
When a resolute young fellow steps up to the great bully, the world, and takes him boldly by the beard, he is often surprised to find it comes off in his hand, and that it was only tied on to scare away the timid adventurers ..

As an innocent story unleashes .....

A little girl starts her amazing journey to school ,  being neither aware of fear nor desire.A twinkling dream in her eyes to make lot of friends and every friend would be special but little did she knew that not every one can be a friend and unlike every fairy tale the happy ending is never around so soon in life for the little princess..

A shy persona ,wanting to talk a lot clouded by an unknown fear of mockery .At times was laughed at and within seconds unmanageable  tears  dripping through her eyes.Despite being scorned at hope was never lost.Successful in getting some friends only to find they were closing her out from the world by encouraging her to be all the more aloof. One of her friends had given her advise her not to pass her notebook to her teacher as she might get a sound thrashing for her hideous hand writing which was blindly followed  which resulted  her dad showing up personally to address this situation.

At the beginner's level striving hard to come get hold of someone who can understand her better, things hadn't turned out favorable achieving the same , some were either left out to pursue other opportunities and some just believed in emptying her school bag from all the goodies ..

Finally the  day was here when she got a chance to perform a play.. Practicing  and rehearsals were part of life now, every section of her dialogue had become historic.A promising performance was on its way just when life took a curvy turn.

Out of  excitement she became unwell, restless through the night she murmured  the whole play while she was asleep but was still confident that she will positively make it to the play.

Bright sunny day and the smiling face for today was the play...
kissing her mum goodbye, so happy to rush off to school for today  life was about to change.

"You have been replaced !!!!... sorry as you were not available yesterday so we thought you might not show up today...."

The play had started and among  the audience  there was one who narrated the whole play one scene after the other as every child laughed only one child stood there trying hard to laugh ... when she could feel her eyes overflowing with some unwanted water ...

With absolutely no remorse for the one who played her part, she smiled at her appreciating her performance though one question did bother her "what made them not wait for me , was I not that good an actor  or was I not fit for the play?

How was the play today my dear ? asked her mother, when she reached home.

It was Grand ...and my performance was the best among all,I astonished every spectator gazing at me, after the play they couldn't help chasing me and praising me all along mentioning now and then that my character in the play was nowhere possible to be replaced by anyone better than me...

The whole play was reenacted and was embraced with hugs and kisses ...

She didn't have stage fear nor the fear of loosing her part to someone else but what lied in the innocence of this incident was the fear to loose it all which is the greatest fear of all where one feels the fear to loose his/her identity. To avoid such type of fear just believe in yourself and  let not the people decide for you but instead you decide what you want .She did lie to her mom that she was a part of the play but at least this gesture proved that she wasn't over yet nor she had given up ...

After a few days ...She was finally a part of another play and this time she got the main lead character for a famous story "The Tiger and a Wise Man" by giving fair competition to all her classmates and bagged a unanimous decision from each and every spectator viewing the play who appreciated the fact that she neither stumbled nor forgot any word of her character's  dialogues being so deeply engrossed in the theme of the story that no one could take that character from her...

Life is Fair ..So always remember to give it as many chances as possible...
